May 16, 2024Have you ever read the book Song of Solomon? It is the 22nd book in the bible and I'd say it could almost be considered a Romantasy, except it's not fantasy! But, it does have a whole lot of sultry romance, a younger me would have blushed at.
This is a story about a man and woman who are madly and passionately in love, yearning and searching….lips and mouths are honey and milk….breasts are compared to fawns and the mans 'ehem' well that’s metaphorically a sweet fruit…..
Scripture can be shockingly, sublimely, sensual & sexy.
When I say all of our answers are in this book I'm not kidding. The more I dig in, the more "AH HA" moments are revealed.
"Many waters cannot quench love, Nor can the floods drown It. If a man would give for love all the wealth of his house, it would be utterly despised" Song of Solomon 8:7
There are some things that cannot be bought and one of them is genuine love, that is only created through moments of intimacy. Intimacy is many things, one of which is physical. .
